Golden Spire Update

We reported in the previous post that Alan Ward has completed the Ribston Pippin apple sculpture.

His next fruit sculpture is the Golden Spire apple. 

Unlike the previous sculptures Alan has created for us there is no model of the fruit for him to work from.  So his first step has been to create a small model himself from images of the fruit.
