We have exciting news. Five more fruit sculptures have been installed in The Tasting Gardening bringing the total to seven. These latest sculptures, produced by Alan Ward, are:
The plinth for the Lord Derby apple is at a reduced height so that wheel-chair visitors and small children can touch the sculpture. Two further plinths have also been installed but left ready for their sculptures. Currently there is just a small stone block on each of these plinths. The two plinths are for:
As FOSG receives more funding so we can add more fruit sculptures to the garden. Chris Wright was on hand to photograph much of the work. We have split the photos into three separate slideshows.
